Visual Description
Asiconops trichus exhibits the characteristic slender, wasp-like body form typical of the family Conopidae. The thorax and abdomen display a combination of dark, sclerotized regions and lighter, often yellowish or brownish, markings. General Information
Asiconops trichus is a species of thick-headed fly in the family Conopidae. It was originally described by Sidney Camras in 1957 as Conops trichus.[2]
