Visual Description
Argyra femoralis is a small, slender fly characteristic of the family Dolichopodidae. General Information
Argyra femoralis was described by M.C. Van Duzee in 1925 as part of his revision of the North American species of the genus Argyra.[2] As a member of the family Dolichopodidae, it belongs to a group of flies commonly known as long-legged flies, which are often found in moist habitats.[2]
