Description
Argyra auricollis (Meigen, 1824) is a species of fly in the family Dolichopodidae. It was originally described as Porphyrops auricollis by Johann Wilhelm Meigen in 1824.[2]
Distribution
The species is widely distributed across Europe and parts of Russia, including the Karelia, Leningrad, and Novgorod regions. It has also been recorded in the Republic of Mordovia, Russia.[3]
Ecology
