Visual Description
Argyra albicans is a species of long-legged fly within the family Dolichopodidae. Observations of specimens from the TreeOfLife-200M dataset reveal characteristic features of the genus, including a metallic, often silvery or reflective appearance on the thorax and abdomen.[1] The body is slender, typical of the family, with relatively long, thin legs. The wings are generally clear or slightly tinted, and the eyes are prominent, occupying a significant portion of the head.[1]
