Description
Aprionus betulae is a species of gall midge in the family Cecidomyiidae. It was described by entomologist Mathias Jaschhof in 1996.[2]
Visual Description
Visual observation of this species is limited by the lack of accessible high-resolution imagery. As a member of the genus Aprionus, it shares the general characteristics of wood midges within the subfamily Lestremiinae.[3]
