Description
Apotropina itascae is a species of fly in the family Chloropidae. It was originally described by Curtis W. Sabrosky in 1951 as Lasiopleura itascae in his review of Nearctic species of the genus Lasiopleura.[2]
Visual Description
While specific morphological traits cannot be resolved from the available dataset imagery, Apotropina itascae is recognized as a member of the family Chloropidae, commonly known as frit flies or grass flies.[1]
