Ecology and Distribution
Aphanotrigonum trilineatum (Meigen, 1830) is a Holarctic boreal species.[2] It is commonly found in meadows, wetlands, and occasionally in agricultural fields.[2] The larvae of this species develop in the stems of Poaceae, including plants that have already been damaged by other insects.[2] The species is known to hibernate as an adult.[2]
