Apatomyza is a genus of flies within the family Bombyliidae (bee flies). The genus was described by Christian R. W. Wiedemann in 1820.[2]
Members of the genus Apatomyza have been observed visiting the flowers of Lycium ferocissimum (African boxthorn).[3]
