Antrops simplicimanus (Richards) is a species within the genus Antrops (Diptera: Sphaeroceridae: Archiborborinae).[2] The genus Antrops was revised by Kits and Marshall (2013), which included the formal transfer of simplicimanus to Antrops as a new combination (Antrops simplicimanus (Richards) comb. nov.).[2]
