Antrops albicans (Richards, 1931) is a species of fly in the family Sphaeroceridae.[2] It was originally described as Archiborborus albicans Richards, 1931.[2] Recent taxonomic work considers Antrops albicans to be a junior synonym of Antrops quadrinotus (Bigot, 1888).[3]
The available images of Antrops albicans are of preserved museum specimens.[1] Due to the nature of these specimens, detailed morphological traits such as fine setation or specific wing venation patterns are not clearly resolvable. The specimens exhibit the general body form typical of the family Sphaeroceridae.[1]
