Ecology and Distribution
Anthrax incomptus is an Australian species.[2] Previous reports of this species in other regions, such as the Republic of Mordovia, Russia, have been identified as erroneous.[2] Like other bee flies, adults are known to visit flowers, and records indicate that Anthrax incomptus has been observed visiting flowers of plants in the family Anacardiaceae.[3]
