Within its ecological community, A. hylaios has demonstrated high connectivity levels, suggesting it plays a significant role in the interaction networks of its habitat.[2] While it shows specialized behavior within a modular network, it also exhibits niche overlaps with other natural enemies, such as the wasp Leucospis manaica (trophic overlap) and the beetle Nemognatha sp. (temporal overlap).[2]
