Visual Description
Anthomyza pullinotum is a member of the Anthomyza pallida group. Based on morphological examination of type specimens, the male holotype has a body length of approximately 2.74 mm. The species exhibits characteristic wing morphology for the group, with a wing length of approximately 2.3 mm in males. The head, thorax, and abdomen exhibit distinct structural features typical of the genus, which have been documented in detail through microscopic examination of male and female paratypes, including the structure of the genitalia and internal sclerites.[2]
