Anoplothyrea indiana is a species of robber fly (family Asilidae) described by Joseph and Parui in 1987.[2] The species was first recorded in India.[2]
Based on observations of available specimen imagery, Anoplothyrea indiana exhibits typical asilid morphology, characterized by a robust, elongated body structure.[1] The head features prominent, large compound eyes typical of the family, and the thorax is well-developed to support flight musculature.[1]
