Anopheles pulcherrimus is a mosquito species characterized by distinct morphological features. Based on observations of museum specimens, the species exhibits a patterned appearance on its wings and body, which is typical of many Anopheles mosquitoes.[1] The wings show a complex arrangement of dark and light scales, creating a mottled or spotted effect. The legs are generally slender and also exhibit banding patterns.
Anopheles pulcherrimus was described by Theobald in 1902.[2]
