Based on observations from the TreeOfLife-200M dataset, members of the genus Anomalomyia are small flies typical of the family Mycetophilidae.[1] They exhibit a slender body form with relatively long, thin legs. The wings are often clear or lightly patterned, and the thorax is typically arched. The head features prominent compound eyes and long, slender antennae.[1]
General Information
Anomalomyia is a genus of fungus gnats in the family Mycetophilidae.[2] The genus was described by Frederick Hutton in 1904.[3]
