Visual Description
Anevrina luggeri is a small fly characteristic of the family Phoridae. Observations from the TreeOfLife-200M dataset show that the species possesses a dark, robust thorax and abdomen.[1] The legs are notably pale, contrasting with the darker body, and the hind femora are somewhat thickened.[1]
Taxonomy and Classification
Anevrina luggeri was originally described by J.M. Aldrich in 1892 as Phora luggeri.[2] It is currently an accepted species within the genus Anevrina.[2]
