Visual Description
Members of the genus Aneura are small flies characteristic of the family Mycetophilidae. Observations from the TreeOfLife-200M dataset indicate that these insects possess a slender, elongated body form typical of many fungus gnats.[1] They exhibit delicate, membranous wings and long, slender legs, which are common morphological features within the Sciaroidea superfamily.[2]
