Andrenosoma jenisi is a species of robber fly. Based on observations from the TreeOfLife-200M dataset, individuals exhibit the characteristic robust, somewhat hairy body form typical of the genus Andrenosoma.[1] The thorax and abdomen are covered in dense, dark setae, and the wings are generally clear or slightly tinted.[1]
Distribution and Taxonomy
Andrenosoma jenisi was described by Kovář and Hradský in 1996.[2] The species is noted as being endemic to the Canary Islands.[2]
