Overview
Anatopynia is a genus of non-biting midges within the family Chironomidae. It is classified under the subfamily Tanypodinae.[2] The genus was described by Johannsen in 1905.[3]
Distribution
The genus Anatopynia is recognized as being restricted to the Palaearctic region.[2]
Visual Description
