Visual Description
Anatella unguigera is a small fly characteristic of the family Mycetophilidae. Based on observations of museum specimens, the species exhibits a slender, elongated body typical of fungus gnats. Ecology
Anatella unguigera has been documented in biotic interaction studies as being preyed upon by the meadow grasshopper Conocephalus dorsalis.[2]
