Visual Description
Anatella setigera is a species of fungus gnat within the family Mycetophilidae. As with other members of the genus Anatella, individuals are typically small, delicate flies. While specific morphological details are often best observed under magnification, specimens in the TreeOfLife-200M dataset exhibit the characteristic slender body form and long, thin legs typical of many mycetophilids.[1]
General Information
Anatella setigera was described by the entomologist F.W. Edwards in 1921.[2] The species is recognized as an accepted name within the genus Anatella.[2]
