Visual Description
Based on observations from the TreeOfLife-200M dataset, Anatella lenis exhibits the characteristic morphology of a fungus gnat.[1] The specimens display a slender, elongated body typical of the family Mycetophilidae, with long, delicate legs and prominent, clear wings that extend beyond the abdomen. Ecology and Interactions
