Visual Description
Anatella laffooni is a species of fungus gnat within the family Mycetophilidae. Based on observations of museum specimens from the TreeOfLife-200M dataset, the species exhibits typical characteristics of the genus Anatella.[1] The specimens display a slender, delicate body structure characteristic of many mycetophilids, with long, thin legs and elongated antennae. The wings are generally clear or lightly tinted, with venation patterns typical of the family.
