Anastrepha convoluta is a species of fruit fly within the family Tephritidae. Observations of preserved specimens indicate that the species possesses a yellowish-brown body coloration. The wings exhibit characteristic brown patterning, which is a common feature among members of the genus Anastrepha.[1]
Anastrepha convoluta was described by Alan Stone in 1942 in his publication, "The fruitflies of the genus Anastrepha."[2] It is currently recognized as an accepted species.[2]
