Anastoechus kashmirensis is a species of bee fly in the family Bombyliidae. It was described by the entomologist V.F. Zaitzev in 1988.[2]
As a member of the family Bombyliidae, Anastoechus kashmirensis exhibits the characteristic morphology of bee flies. While specific diagnostic traits for this species are best observed in preserved specimens, individuals of the genus Anastoechus are generally recognized by their robust, often densely hairy bodies, which frequently mimic bees.[1]
