Overview
Anapausis minuta is a species of minute black scavenger fly in the family Scatopsidae. It was described by entomologist Edwin F. Cook in 1965 as part of his monograph on the genus Anapausis.[2]
Visual Description
As a member of the family Scatopsidae, Anapausis minuta exhibits the characteristic small, often dark-bodied morphology typical of the group. Due to the limitations of available photographic records, specific diagnostic morphological traits such as wing venation patterns or antennal structure cannot be definitively resolved from the current dataset imagery.[1]
