Anacinaces is a genus of robber flies (family Asilidae) described by the entomologist Günther Enderlein in 1914.[2]
Morphological observations of Anacinaces are limited by the availability of high-resolution imagery. As a member of the family Asilidae, members of this genus are expected to exhibit typical robber fly characteristics, such as a robust thorax, a prominent mystax (a cluster of bristles on the face), and predatory adaptations.[1]
