Biology and Distribution
Anabarhynchus yeatesi is a species of stiletto-fly belonging to the family Therevidae. It was formally described by entomologist Leif Lyneborg in 2001 as part of his comprehensive monograph on the Australian Anabarhynchus genus-group.[2] As with other members of the genus, it is native to Australia.[3]
