A nemertean ribbon worm (Tetrastemma appendiculatum) was reported from demosponges that were later treated as Amphilectus digitatus (formerly recorded as Esperiopsis digitata). In this context, A. digitatus is a demospongian host species used by sponge-associated fauna.[3]
Depth and locality for the associated fauna
The nemertean associated with A. digitatus was collected by trawling at 40–60 m depth in Peter the Great Bay (as reported in the same study context).[3]
