Visual Description
Members of the genus Amphibolia are flies that exhibit typical tachinid morphology. Amphibolia is a genus of flies within the family Tachinidae.[2] Within the family, it is placed in the subfamily Dexiinae, specifically within the group Dexiinae incertae sedis.[2]
Note: There is a genus of plants also named Amphibolia, which is classified within the tribe Ruschieae (family Mesembryanthemaceae).[3] This plant genus should not be confused with the dipteran genus Amphibolia.
