Visible traits include a patterned thorax with longitudinal stripes and a segmented abdomen, which is characteristic of many sarcophagid flies.[1]
Distribution and Ecology
Amobia erythrura (Wulp, 1890) is an accepted species within the family Sarcophagidae.[2] Research conducted in Białołęka Dworska between 1976 and 1977 identified the species in specific forest habitats, including oak-hornbeam forests (Tilio-Carpinetum) and carr habitats (Circaeo-Alnetum).[3]
