Amma
Amma is a genus of flies belonging to the family Coelopidae. The genus was described by McAlpine in 1991.[1]

Visual Description
Based on observations of preserved specimens from the TreeOfLife-200M dataset, members of the genus Amma exhibit typical dipteran morphology.[2] The specimens display a robust body structure characteristic of the family Coelopidae, with visible wing venation and segmented appendages. Due to the nature of the preserved material, fine diagnostic characters such as specific setal patterns are difficult to resolve in detail, but the overall form is consistent with the general appearance of kelp flies.[2]
