Amblypsilopus stuckenbergorum
Amblypsilopus stuckenbergorum (Irwin, 1974) is a species of long-legged fly in the family Dolichopodidae. It is a member of the Amblypsilopus fasciatus species group and is known from South Africa.[1] It is sometimes referred to as the Drakensberg Bejewelled Fly.[2]

Visual Description
Based on observations from the TreeOfLife-200M dataset, Amblypsilopus stuckenbergorum exhibits characteristic features of the genus.[3] The species is distinguished by wings that are heavily infuscate, featuring an apical sclerotized spot that does not extend to the posterior wing margin.[1] Morphologically, the species possesses multiple postocellar hairs and a dark brown antennal postpedicel.[1] The body length is approximately 7.2 mm.[1]
