Amblypsilopus donhi is a species of long-legged fly within the family Dolichopodidae. Based on examination of preserved specimens, the species exhibits the characteristic slender body form typical of the genus Amblypsilopus. The specimens display long, thin legs and elongated wings, which are diagnostic features of this group.[1]
Amblypsilopus donhi was described by the entomologist Daniel J. Bickel in 1994. The description was published as part of his comprehensive work on the Australian Sciapodinae, which included reviews of the Oriental and Australasian faunas.[2]
