Amauromyza elaeagni (Rohdendorf-Holmanová, 1959) is a leaf-mining insect species that feeds on the leaves of the Russian olive tree (Elaeagnus sp.) [2]. In a study conducted in urban areas of Slovakia between 2005 and 2008, A. elaeagni was recorded as a non-indigenous (alien) pest species, with a single observation documented on July 20, 2006, in an urban park in Nitra [2].
