Allometopon tropalis is a species of fly within the family Clusiidae. While specific morphological details are difficult to resolve from the available museum specimen images in the TreeOfLife-200M dataset, the specimens exhibit the general body plan characteristic of the family Clusiidae, including a small, slender form typical of these flies.[1]
Allometopon tropalis was described by M. Sasakawa in 1974.[2] The species was documented in the study "Clusiidae from the Philippine and Bismarck islands (Insecta, Diptera)," published in Steenstrupia.[2]
