This page represents the following TreeOfLife-200M taxonomic path.[1]
Allodiopsis ingeniosa is a member of the family Mycetophilidae, commonly known as fungus gnats. Based on observations of museum specimens in the TreeOfLife-200M dataset, the species exhibits typical characteristics of the family, including a slender, elongated body form and delicate, membranous wings.[1] The specimens display long, filiform antennae and relatively long, thin legs, which are characteristic of many mycetophilids.[1]
Allodiopsis ingeniosa has been documented in biotic interaction studies as a prey species for the bush-cricket Conocephalus dorsalis.[2]
