Visual Description
Allodia neglecta is a species of fungus gnat. Due to the limitations of the available photographic records, which consist of preserved museum specimens, detailed morphological traits such as live coloration or fine setal patterns are not fully resolvable.[1]
Biology and Distribution
Allodia neglecta was described by F.W. Edwards in 1925.[2] Specimens of this species, sometimes referred to under the subgenus Brachycampta, are maintained in entomological collections, such as those at the Regional Natural History Museum in Plovdiv.[3]
