Visual Description
Alliopsis teriolensis is a fly within the family Anthomyiidae. Based on examination of preserved specimens, the species exhibits typical anthomyiid morphology, characterized by a robust, bristly body structure. The thorax and abdomen are covered in distinct, dark setae (bristles). The wings are clear and membranous, with venation patterns consistent with the family. The overall coloration of the specimens appears to be a mix of dark grey to blackish tones, which is common among many species in this genus.[1]
