This page represents the following TreeOfLife-200M taxonomic path.[1]
Based on observations from the TreeOfLife-200M dataset, Alliopsis denticauda exhibits the characteristic body form of the family Anthomyiidae, typically appearing as a small to medium-sized, robust fly.[1] The specimens show a dark, often greyish or brownish coloration on the thorax and abdomen, consistent with many members of the genus Alliopsis. Due to the limitations of the available imagery, finer morphological details such as specific chaetotaxy (bristle patterns) or wing venation cannot be definitively resolved.[1]
