General Information
Alcimus is a genus of robber flies belonging to the family Asilidae. It was described by W. S. Dallas in 1851.[2]
Visual Description
Due to the unavailability of high-resolution imagery for direct morphological assessment, specific diagnostic traits cannot be resolved at this time. The genus Alcimus is represented in the TreeOfLife-200M dataset, but visual inspection of these records was not possible.[1]
