This page represents the following TreeOfLife-200M taxonomic path.[1]
Agromyza vicifoliae is a small fly characteristic of the family Agromyzidae. Based on observations of museum specimens from the TreeOfLife-200M dataset, the species exhibits a generally dark, sclerotized body typical of many agromyzids.[1] The specimens show a compact, robust thorax and abdomen, with wings that are typically clear or slightly smoky in appearance. The head features prominent compound eyes and characteristic setation. Due to the nature of the preserved specimens, finer morphological details such as specific wing venation patterns or subtle setal arrangements are difficult to resolve without high-magnification microscopy.[1]
Agromyza vicifoliae is a Palaearctic species.[2] It has been documented interacting with the plant Trifolium saxatile.[3]
