Agromyza mobilis is a small fly, typical of the family Agromyzidae. Based on observations of preserved museum specimens, the species exhibits a generally dark, sclerotized body characteristic of many leaf-miner flies.[1] The specimens show typical dipteran features, including a distinct head with prominent compound eyes, a thorax with setal patterns, and wings that are often held folded over the abdomen in preserved states.[1]
Agromyza mobilis is a member of the family Agromyzidae, commonly known as leaf-miner flies.[2] The species has been documented interacting with plants in the family Poaceae, including Triticum aestivum (wheat).[3] Recent research has expanded the known distribution of this species, with new records reported from Morocco.[4]
