Based on observations of preserved specimens in the TreeOfLife-200M dataset, Agromyza felleri exhibits the characteristic morphology of a small dipteran.[1] The specimens show a dark, sclerotized body typical of the family Agromyzidae. The wings are membranous and clear, with distinct venation patterns characteristic of the genus Agromyza. The head features prominent compound eyes and short antennae. Due to the nature of the preserved specimens, fine details such as setal patterns on the thorax and abdomen are difficult to resolve, but the overall body plan is consistent with other members of the genus.[1]
Agromyza felleri is a recognized species within the family Agromyzidae, a group commonly known as leaf-miner flies.[2] Records indicate that this species has been observed interacting with Vicia sepium (bush vetch).[3]
