This page represents the following TreeOfLife-200M taxonomic path.[1]
Based on observations from the TreeOfLife-200M dataset, Agapophytus antheliogynaion exhibits the characteristic stiletto fly morphology typical of the family Therevidae.[1] The specimens display a slender, elongated body form with a distinct, pointed abdomen. The coloration includes patterns of dark and light markings on the thorax and abdomen, which provide a degree of camouflage. The wings are generally clear or slightly tinted, held in a characteristic position when at rest.[1]
