This page represents the following TreeOfLife-200M taxonomic path.[1]
Agapophytus albopunctatus is a species of stiletto fly within the family Therevidae. Observations from the TreeOfLife-200M dataset indicate that individuals of this species exhibit the characteristic slender, elongated body form typical of the family.[1] Due to the limitations of the available imagery, finer morphological details such as specific setal patterns or wing venation cannot be definitively resolved.
Agapophytus albopunctatus was described by the entomologist Victor von Röder in 1885.[2] It is an accepted species name within the genus Agapophytus.[2]
