Overview
Afroholopogon is a genus of robber flies (family Asilidae) described by Londt in 1994.[2] The genus was established in the Annals of the Natal Museum and is noted for containing Afrotropical species.[2][3] The type species for the genus is Holopogon vumba Oldroyd, 1974, designated by original designation.[3]
