Visual Description
Afrocneros excellens is a species of fruit fly within the family Tephritidae. Afrocneros excellens was originally described by the entomologist Hermann Loew in 1861 under the name Trypeta excellens.[2] It is currently recognized as an accepted species within the genus Afrocneros.[2]
