Visual Description
Aedes rupestris is a mosquito species. Based on examination of preserved specimens, the body exhibits typical culicid morphology, including a slender abdomen, distinct thoracic structure, and elongated legs. The specimens show characteristic dark coloration on the dorsal surfaces of the thorax and abdomen. The wings are membranous and veined, consistent with the order Diptera.[1]
Distribution and Classification
